About Marlie

Now accepting new clients! I specialize in supporting folks to improve their relationships, whether with themselves or others. I help individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, low self-esteem, emotional regulation, negative thoughts, and sex, sexuality or identity issues.

In couple therapy, I work with clients to improve emotional regulation, understand destructive and unhelpful behaviour, and improve communication and intimacy.

I specialize in helping clients understand themselves better, heal emotional wounds, experience more calm and self-acceptance, reduce feelings of anxiety or depression, and feel more connected to themselves and others.

We often start by exploring your life - past experiences, important relationships, your childhood and your current circumstance. I believe it’s important for everyone to have their stories heard and to feel understood. My approach is trauma-informed and integrates talk therapy with experiential, body-centered mindfulness practices and psychoeducation.

I am so grateful to be able to do my job, and I love helping clients feel a deeper connection to themselves and their partners. I feel like we all need a little support in this life, and it's one of the best feelings to have someone to talk to, to help us feel less alone, and to gain insights and clarity. I would love to support you on your journey!
