My experiences include: providing psychological services to a diverse client group including those with mrital/family/relational issues, mental/emotional health conditions and alcohol/drug abuse problems.
These experiences comprise working in different medical/mental health settings that also includes holding the position of Associate Professor of Psychology at Iran University of Medical Sciences and the Visiting /Adjunct Professor of Psychology at Simon Fraser University Canada as well as the Honorary Research Fellow at Keele University in England.
Besides, over the past 40 years I have enjoyed the opportunity of working in Canada, Britain and Iran involving in planning, directing and managing Mental Health & Addictions Services as well as training graduate students and health care professionals such as: clinical psychologists /clinical counsellors, health psychologists, psychiatric occupational therapists and psychiatry residents and also conducting research projects in the varying areas of health psychology/mental health, mental illnesses, addictions and family/marital conflicts along with providing direct consultation and therapy to clients and their families in out-patient and hospital settings.
